425 yards, Fingering Skein; 80% superwash merino, 20% nylon.
A perfect blend of warmth and strength to make a hardwearing sock yarn that can stand up to your affection and abuse. Tough Love Sock is our best-selling yarn and knits up beautifully into fine-gauge sweaters, small shawls, as well as socks! Spun from 80% superwash and super soft merino and 20% nylon, this 3-ply yarn is so versatile — knit it firmly for hard wearing socks, knit it loosely for drapey shawls, or knit it doubled for a great worsted weight substitute.
These colors are part of Sweet Georgia's Elixir color palette, a 10-hue collection that embodies the essence of deep, woodsy hues in a super wearable color story. Each of these colors comes from a mix of the three main hues that make up their foundation color wheel. These colorways appear subtle and delicate but knit up into really gorgeous and wearable textiles. In the fabric, you’ll see all the nuance and the fact that the color is not solid and flat, but it has movement, richness, and life. And they all go together in a vibrant or subtle way. We added in Papaya and Lavender because we couldn't help ourselves!
SweetGeorgia Yarns is Felicia's artisan yarn company that is passionate about bringing you stunningly saturated colors, luxurious natural fibers and yarns of the highest quality. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, enveloped by the Georgia Strait. In 2005, when owner Felicia started her blog, she named it “sweetgeorgia” in anticipation of writing about her passion for baking bread and a dream of opening a bakery on Georgia Street in Vancouver. The blog became a space to write about all sorts of interests (in addition to bread), including knitting, dyeing, and spinning and “sweetgeorgia” evolved into a dream about sharing the comfort that comes with craft. Felicia designs an exclusive collection of hand-dyed knitting yarns. Sweet Georgia's mission is to create light and joy through color and craft.
