Maximo is classified as a “chunky” yarn which refers to the increased thickness of the strand. And that is precisely what makes Maximo so unique for it is rare to find merino wool that is this thick.  Nothing compares to the joy of a chunky, quick-knit project! Even more so when what you knit is super snugly and a dream to wear! Merino wool has a unique shine and softness. Its high elasticity allows free body movement and is resistant to wrinkling and sagging. Due to the fineness of the fiber, it does not cause any itching when worn directly on the skin making it the perfect choice for even the most sensitive skin. Merino wool is highly breathable and has excellent thermoregulating properties. In addition, it absorbs up to a third of its dry weight in moisture without feeling damp. The result: Merino warms in winter and cools in summer. The lanolin residues that are found in the yarn safeguard against odor-causing bacteria.

Pascuali's merino comes from Argentina and are GOTS-certified. The certification focuses on animal welfare and guarantees that the working environment is safe, workers receive fair pay, there is no child labor or excessive working hours. This is done through regular inspections of the entire supply chain; from the farms to the washing, spinning and dyeing processes to bring you a yarn that is 100 % organic.

Pascuali's vision is that rare, luxurious yarns of exceptional quality can be created with a focus on fair-trade, ecological production & care for the animals. Their yarns are created for fiber artists who value high quality, as well as a strong sense of social responsibility. From the fiber itself to the way they package their finished product, sustainability is a key element of Pascuali's philosophy. For example, more than 90% of their shipping is done with DHL GoGreen Service meaning every package is shipping in a CO2-neutral manner. They also contribute to a reforestation program.

Every computer monitor is calibrated differently. Slight variations in tone and saturation will vary from monitor to monitor. The actual color of your item may vary slightly from what you see on your screen.

Return Policy

To protect you from odd dye lots, odors, or allergens, yarn may not be returned. We want to be sure that each skein you get has come direct from the dyer, to the shop to you. Full priced items other than yarn may be exchanged for shop credit if Fuzzy Goat receives the item within 2 weeks of when you received the item. 

To be eligible for an exchange, there must be proof of purchase, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and in re-saleable condition when Fuzzy Goat receives it. Shop credit will be for the items purchased and not inclusive of shipping. We recommend insuring your package as we cannot credit returns for items that do not arrive.

If you are requesting to cancel an order, within two hours of your order and we have not wound your yarn and it has not yet reached our Fulfillment Maven, we will issue you shop credit for your whole order. (We incur quite a few non-refundable fees from our merchant services as soon as your order is placed)

Missed Coupon Policy

If you make a request, within the hour of your order, for us to retroactively apply coupon codes or gift card codes not entered at checkout we will need to deduct the merchant processing fees that we will be assessed. We will issue your difference in shop credit to be used in 60 days. Please be sure to fully enter your coupon code or gift card before completing checkout. Use all caps if coupon code is in all caps and Birthday coupons do include the word Birthday

Shipping Policy

We currently automatically ship within the United States, if you would like us to ship outside the US, contact us and we can make arrangements for you. Please allow between 5-10 days for your order to arrive. If more than 10 days have passed please email us at heyfuzzy@fuzzygoatyarns.com to review the status of your order. 

If you have ordered one of our subscription boxes or a pre-order item, please take note of the later dates those are expected to ship.
