Fancy Colorwork Pullover Class

Cadence just finished her cardigan version and Melissa is working away on her pullover! Crafted for versatility, the Barberry Sweater is an adventure in knitting, featuring eye-catching aesthetics and innovative techniques. Embrace the challenge of managing long floats with the clever ladderback jacquard method, adding a layered dimension to your knitting skills. Please be sure and read the skills you need for the class.

Time: Five 2-hour classes, March 22 & 29, April 12 & 26, May 10
Saturdays: 2:00-4:00 (March 29 is 2:00-5:00)

Level 4 Cashmere: ready to add expert techniques, able to tangle with advance techniques

Skills you need: 

• knit and purl stitch
• knitting in the round, have finished a sweater project
  
• have successfully used a knitting pattern
• have done at least simple colorwork (this isn't a beginner class on working with two colors at one time)
• working with charts
• a gauge swatch
  
• sizing, measuring yourself and ease in sweaters
• marking up your sweater pattern
• putting sleeves "on-hold" and picking the stitches up later

• Cable cast on
• Decorative chain stitch
• German short rows
• ladderback jacquard with one and two colors
• using charts 
• lifted increases  in colorwork
• discussion of seeking (cutting to make a cardigan)
• LOTS of classes in one series!

Materials:

• Zanete Knit's Barberry Sweater pattern
• DK yarn,
  • We sure do appreciate it when you use Fuzzy Goat yarn in your Fuzzy Goat classes. Your purchase helps sustain us to be around for years to come.
• Needles: US 3 24 - 40” long and/or DPNs for small circumference knitting or the size needed to obtain gauge
• Highlighter tape
• Stitch markers

Return Policy

To protect you from odd dye lots, odors, or allergens, yarn may not be returned. We want to be sure that each skein you get has come direct from the dyer, to the shop to you. Full priced items other than yarn may be exchanged for shop credit if Fuzzy Goat receives the item within 2 weeks of when you received the item. Curated boxes are not eligible for returns  

To be eligible for an exchange, there must be proof of purchase, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and in re-saleable condition when Fuzzy Goat receives it. Shop credit will be for the items purchased and not inclusive of shipping. We recommend insuring your package as we cannot credit returns for items that do not arrive.

If you are requesting to cancel an order, within two hours of your order and we have not wound your yarn and it has not yet reached our Fulfillment Maven, we will issue you shop credit for your whole order. (We incur quite a few non-refundable fees from our merchant services as soon as your order is placed)

Missed Coupon Policy

If you make a request, within the hour of your order, for us to retroactively apply coupon codes or gift card codes not entered at checkout we will need to deduct the merchant processing fees that we will be assessed. We will issue your difference in shop credit to be used in 60 days. Please be sure to fully enter your coupon code or gift card before completing checkout. Use all caps if coupon code is in all caps and Birthday coupons do include the word Birthday

Shipping Policy

We currently automatically ship within the United States, if you would like us to ship outside the US, contact us and we can make arrangements for you. Please allow between 5-10 days for your order to arrive. It may take us longer during big sale promotions. If more than 10 days have passed please email us at heyfuzzy@fuzzygoatyarns.com to review the status of your order. 

If you have ordered one of our subscription boxes or a pre-order item, please take note of the later dates those are expected to ship.
